ABOUT ME
Backstory
I found design as early as 2010, on my dad’s computer, I liked to create things in Microsoft’s paint.
Sometime in 2014, I picked up graphics design after discovering Adobe Photoshop wasn’t as hard as it looked. I also got to intern at my dad’s friend’s printing press where I learnt about designing for print (in Corel Draw, oops)
My friend referred me to the CEO of Feegor (fka Vasiti.com) in 2015, where I got my first actual internship which lasted for about a year before getting a part-time role for about 4 years.
While in school, I also got the chance to lead the design team at PAADC. Later in 2019, I transitioned to product design when I found out about Figma which I designed PAADC’s first website in.
Later in 2019, I got a role at Semicolon as a Marketing designer before getting promoted to Design Lead after a year. Here, I also got to learn about building software.
I currently work as a Senior Product Designer at Kuda, the money app for Africans, where I build and maintain the Kuda Design System.
